About the company

A few quick questions to check this service suits your company.

The first annual return is due six months after the company is set up. If it hasn't been filed yet, you'll need our First Annual Return service instead.

Trading means any business activity, such as sales, purchases, payroll or interest received. Fees paid on the company's behalf don't count. If unsure, choose No and we'll confirm.

Did any shares change hands since your last annual return, for example a shareholder selling or gifting their shares to someone else? New shares issued also count. If nothing has changed, choose No.

The last day of the financial year these accounts cover. You'll find it on the company's last accounts. If these are its first accounts, the year usually ends within 18 months of the date the company was set up.

Directors

Add each director of the company. We'll text each of them a link to verify their identity with ID-PAL.

Tax & banking

We need these to prepare the accounts and any tax return.

Whether the company has an active tax registration with Revenue (Corporation Tax, VAT or PAYE).

Choosing Yes adds €150.00 + VAT to your order.

A CT1 is the company's Corporation Tax return. A company registered for Corporation Tax has to file one every year, even if it hasn't traded. If you're not sure, choose Yes and we'll check before filing anything.

Choose Yes if the company holds a bank account in its own name, even if there's been no activity on it. If it was never opened, choose No.

When the company was set up, the shareholders agreed to pay a set amount for their shares. Choose Yes if they've actually paid it, or No if it's still owed to the company.

Money paid by the directors

Tell us about any company costs a director paid out of their own pocket.

Choose Yes if a director paid any of the company's costs, such as CRO filing fees or our fees, from their own money rather than the company bank account. This is treated as money the company owes the director, so we need to record it.

Anything else paid for the company from a director's own money during the year, for example bank charges, software or postage. Leave out Incorpro's fees and CRO fees, which the question above covers. Choose No if there was nothing else.

For example a director lent the company money, or took money out that wasn't salary. Choose No if there are no balances either way.

Signing

Choose which of the directors above will sign the accounts.

The director who signs the financial statements.

Optional. Another director who also signs.
